Ward Security is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor for a prominent facility in Central London. The role involves supervising a security team, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring safety across a large corporate site in London.

You will lead day-to-day operations, coordinate with management, and provide front-line security coverage at night and on weekends. A valid SIA licence and strong communication are essential for success.

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Security Supervisor to safeguard a prominent facility in London. The successful applicant will have a background in Security Supervision, supervising a large corporate building situated in Central London

Main duties

• • Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring efficient task completion
  • Report any issues to the manager
  • Ensure night and weekend security team are aware of any events taking place
  • To provide regular foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client's property and assets.
  • To provide a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
  • Respond to emergencies
  • Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
  • Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
  • Carry out ID checks
  • Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
  • Excellent communication skills to all levels - verbally, written, phone and by security radio's
  • Can work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative
  • A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges

Must Have

• • Valid SIA licence
  • Proven work experience as a Security Supervisor - min 1 year
  • Robust leadership and supervision skills, adept at inspiring and efficiently managing teams.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
  • Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
  • Profound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to analyse intricate security issues and devise effective solutions.
  • IT literate- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
