Carlisle Support Services is seeking a Supervisor to lead a security team at locations around Port of Liverpool. The role involves ensuring high standards, staff development, and client-facing responsibilities with full training provided.

Location: Port of Liverpool, L21 1LA. Pay: £14.85 per hour. Hours: about 50 hours per week on a rotating days/nights/weekend schedule. A strong licence and driving history are required, with ongoing opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence required for licensable role.
• Full UK Driving Licence held >2 years with few points (company vehicle provided).
• 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Proven supervisory experience, preferably in security.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team to achieve performance goals and maintain high standards.
• Ensure colleague safety and provide assurance for all.
• Oversee conflict management and take control of incidents.
• Conduct security patrols and control access/egress to deter crime.
• Engage with the public in a proactive and professional manner.
• Train and mentor new hires, ensuring understanding of roles.
