Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University invites applications for an experienced Team Leader in Campus Support (Security). You will oversee day-to-day on-shift operations, coach and develop staff, and work closely with the Campus Support Supervisor to maintain high service standards.

The role requires leadership, robust communication, and the ability to respond quickly to changing patterns while maintaining a calm, fair, and consistent approach. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in security or regulated customer-facing environments.
• Ability to coach and develop staff and maintain high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership on shift.
• Work with Campus Support Supervisor to keep team focused and motivated.
• Address performance and conduct issues promptly and fairly.
• Be a visible on-shift leader and set a positive example for the team.
• Take full responsibility for the shift in the supervisor's absence.
