Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Security Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. The role suits an experienced officer able to work independently or as part of a team within a healthcare setting. You will lead security staff, monitor alarms, manage incidents, and provide reports to support performance metrics.

DBS Enhanced disclosure and SIA licence are required. The position requires clear communication, negotiation skills, and a customer-focused approach to protect patients,

Qualifications

• SIA Licence required or in progress.
• Leadership experience in security roles preferred.
• Strong customer-facing skills in a healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• DBS Enhanced disclosure required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for any security related issues.
• Manage security guards to provide the best possible experience for patients, visitors and staff.
• Monitor and coordinate the reaction to alarm activations.
• Provide reports and monitoring information to produce performance reports.
• Carry out a full range of security duties in line with policies and procedures.
• Maintain clear communications via radio, bleep systems and correct terminology.
• Lock and alarm departments and external doors/gates as per lockdown procedures.
• Assist in missing patient searches and involve local police if required.
• Maintain any scene of crimes.
• Serve as first point of contact for fire brigade and emergency ambulance service.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. This position is well-suited to an experienced officer who can work alone as well as part of a team, and is looking to gain experience within a healthcare setting.,

• To act as the first point of contact for any security related issues.
• To manage the staff employed as security guards to provide the best possible
• experience for all users (patients, visitors, and staff).
• To monitor and coordinate the reaction to any alarm activations.
• To provide reports and monitoring information as required to produce performance reports.
• To act as the first point of contact for any security related issues.

• Maintain effective communication links through the correct use of radio, bleep systems and correct terminology.
• Lock and alarm departments as required, external doors & gates as laid down in Trust lockdown procedures.
• Assist in the search for missing patients and if necessary, elevate the search by contacting local police.
• Maintain any scene of crimes.
• Provide a first point of contact for fire brigade and emergency ambulance service
  The ideal candidate will have good negotiation skills and possess a customer focussed approach. This role is subject to Enhanced DBS disclosure., SIA Licence
