Medirest is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead a team of security professionals at King's Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will oversee day-to-day security operations, ensure patient and staff safety, and uphold NHS and Compass Group policies.

You will supervise patrols, respond to incidents, manage rotas, and produce incident reports while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach within a busy healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Security Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Holds a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in healthcare/public sector or high-footfall environments is desirable.
• Able to remain calm under pressure and make informed decisions.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Security Supervisor to join our Medirest team at King's Mill Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of security professionals within a busy healthcare environment, ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, colleagues, and hospital property.

As a Security Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment while supporting operational excellence and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the security team.
• Ensure all security operations are delivered effectively and in line with company and NHS policies.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections across the hospital site.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches.
• Support investigations and complete accurate incident reporting.
• Monitor CCTV systems and access control procedures.
• Assist with managing staff rotas, attendance, training, and performance.
• Build strong working relationships with hospital management, staff, patients, and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, safeguarding, and security regulations.
• Promote a professional, customer-focused approach across the team.
