Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Security Officer to join our onsite team. You will greet visitors, manage building operations, and ensure high levels of service in reception areas and meeting suites.

You will respond to inquiries, maintain knowledge of policies, and coordinate with Building Management to ensure smooth operations. This role requires clear communication, basic computer skills, and attention to detail, with weekend shifts: Saturdays and Sundays from 6am to 6pm.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and follow correct protocols.
• Manage day-to-day running of the building.
• Maintain high service levels in reception and meeting rooms.
• Provide staff and visitors with information on policies and systems.
• Answer and route phone calls promptly.
• Liaise with Building Management to coordinate activities.
• Oversee car parking and guide visitors to correct bays.
• Work Saturdays and Sundays 6am–6pm.

We are looking for a Security Officer to join us onsite with our client, you'll be someone who prides themselves in providing professional security services. Does this sound like you?

What the day to day looks like

• To meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for
• Day to day running of building
• Ensure that an exceptional level of service is always maintained in reception areas and meeting suites, including contacting the meeting hosts
• Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, actions, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required
• Ensure that the telephone is answered in a timely and professional manner and transferred to the appropriate personnel or message are taken
• To maintain close working relationships with the relevant Building Management team and to coordinate efforts
• To control car parking and ensure visitors use allocated correct parking bays
• Saturdays and Sundays 6am - 6pm

Skills & Experience required

• Do you have previous experience in a similar role would be preferred?
• Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills?
• Do you have b asic computer literacy required?
• Do you have e xcellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner?
