Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust requires a Security Manager to lead security across all sites, ensuring high standards of protection for patients, staff and assets. You will develop and implement security policies, oversee investigations, and liaise with the Police and NHS bodies as required.

The role requires strategic security leadership, governance of risk, and management of CCTV, access control and alarm systems to deliver safe, secure environments across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience in security management within a large organisation.
• Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Strong incident response and investigation skills.
• Proven ability to liaise with Police, fraud bodies and NHS partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and expert security management across all Trust sites.
• Lead on Security Policies, Lone Working and Zero Tolerance policies.
• Oversee security audits, incident investigations and data reporting.
• Coordinate with external agencies and internal committees.
• Manage security infrastructure including CCTV, access control and alarm systems.
