Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Specialist Security Platform Engineer to safeguard data, identity, email, network and endpoint security across our operations. You will implement robust security measures and work with cross-functional teams to strengthen defences against cyber threats.

The role requires a minimum of three years' infrastructure security experience and hands-on experience with Defender, Purview and CrowdStrike.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of infrastructure security experience across data, identity, email, network or endpoint security.
• Hands-on experience with Defender, Purview, CrowdStrike and network security tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with vulnerability diagnosis ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen security capabilities across data, identity, email, network and endpoint environments.
• Configure, optimise and support security controls, technologies and processes.
• Identify security gaps, diagnose root causes and deliver remediation.
• Define and implement security standards, guardrails, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to integrate security services and communicate risks to non-technical audiences.
