Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring a Security Engineer specializing in Endpoint and Data Protection. The role is hybrid with London or Birmingham as possible bases. You will implement Purview governance, design data protection policies, and lead threat hunting using Defender for Endpoint and related tools.

You will collaborate with delivery teams to mitigate data leakage, manage vulnerabilities with Qualys, and support secure web access via Zscaler and Proofpoint, contributing to secure maturity across projects.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience managing Microsoft security products.
• Experience with DLP and data governance policies using Microsoft Purview is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for endpoint security and threat hunting.
• Familiarity with KQL for advanced threat investigations.
• Experience with Zscaler and Proofpoint for secure web access and email security.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and configuring Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance.
• Designing and deploying information protection policies (AIP/MIP), including sensitivity labels and DLP.
• Advising on strategies to prevent data leakage and unauthorized sharing.
• Leveraging Microsoft Defender for endpoint monitoring, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Performing advanced threat investigations using KQL queries.
