Job summary

Comtecs Ltd in London Hybrid is seeking an IT Cyber Security Specialist to join its Infrastructure Engineering team, supporting and improving cybersecurity across a global IT environment.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Engineering Manager, the role covers hands-on security engineering, incident response and vulnerability management, using MS Defender and MS Sentinel, with CISSP/CEH credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a senior cyber security role.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture and incident response.
• Proven ability to manage vulnerabilities and threats across cloud and on-prem.
• CISSP, CEH, CCNA Security or equivalent certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own cybersecurity controls and security architecture for the global IT environment.
• Lead incident response and threat monitoring activities.
• Identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation across Windows Server and Azure.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and third parties on security design.
• Support security awareness and business continuity initiatives.
