GreensafeIT is seeking a vigilant Security Operative to protect our people, premises and assets across the site. You will monitor visitor activity, respond to incidents and ensure security procedures are followed.

This 3-month fixed term contract offers opportunities for review. Key duties include patrols, CCTV monitoring, identity verification, access control, and timely incident reporting. A professional appearance and calm manner are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to prevent intrusion and secure doors, windows, gates.
• Monitor CCTV and alarms and respond to suspicious activity.
• Verify identity of employees, contractors and visitors; issue passes.
• Control entry and exit to restricted areas; perform security checks.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies promptly.
• Document and report incidents and hazards.
• Complete daily and weekly security checks.
• Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors.
• Maintain a visible security presence.
• Assist in emergency procedures including evacuations and lockdowns.
• Ensure adherence to security policies.
