Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Security Officer to protect our client's property, people and assets on site. You will work to published Assignment Instructions, meet KPIs and SLAs, and engage in ongoing training to develop your competencies.

The role requires a front-line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and compliance with UK laws and company policies. A proactive, reliable approach and the ability to collaborate with the Security Account Manager are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven security experience.
• SIA license is required.
• SC Clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies and legal requirements on site.
• Fully complete tasks on site as defined within the Assignment Instructions (AIs).
• Review AIs and propose amendments to improve the current level of service.
• Wear the required front-line licence for Security Guarding or Door Supervision at all times.
• Follow safety requirements and instructions, and avoid unnecessary challenges to authority.
• Maintain accurate notebooks and incident reports for on-site events.
