Job summary

Marpol Security Ltd is seeking an experienced Monitoring & Operations Controller for our Golborne HQ. The role involves 12-hour shifts (05:30–17:30), four days on, four days off, averaging ~42 hours weekly.

You will monitor CCTV, coordinate operations, liaise with clients and staff, and manage incidents and reporting. The ideal candidate holds a front-line SIA CCTV Licence, has strong IT skills, and can manage rostering and confidentiality across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room environment.
• Experience navigating monitoring and security systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, especially MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Professional and proactive attitude.
• Experience in staff rostering and scheduling.
• SIA CCTV Licence (front line).

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV surveillance across multiple sites and platforms.
• Respond to incidents, alerts and requests promptly.
• Liaise with clients, officers and the public by phone, email and other channels.
• Coordinate emergency response with mobile teams and emergency services.
• Produce internal, client and incident reports and handovers.
• Schedule and roster security staff to ensure coverage.
• Maintain accurate operational records and confidentiality.
