Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident security officer to join our on-site team in the Tendring area. You will protect property, people and assets, work to meet SLA targets, and maintain high standards of professional conduct on site.

The role requires holding a valid front-line SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and a commitment to ongoing training. We offer a flexible benefits package and opportunities for career progression within Mitie.

• Security experience required
• SIA licence required

Responsibilities

• Protect our customer's property, people and assets on-site following Assignment Instructions and changes
• Meet and / or exceed KPIs / SLAs for the customer
• Undertake additional training for self-development
• Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements
• Complete on-site tasks as defined in Assignment Instructions
• Review and update Assignment Instructions to improve service
• Maintain licences and renew before expiry
• Complete incident reports accurately and promptly
• Submit check-in calls as scheduled
• Call emergency services when required
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and staff
• Keep detailed notebook entries after incidents
• Support Mitie and client with consistent service
