Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a confident Security Officer to join our team in Tendring, UK. The role focuses on protecting property, people and assets in line with Assignment Instructions and contractual changes.

You will work to deliver KPI/SLA targets, ensuring high service standards while adhering to UK laws and safety guidelines. The position requires an SIA licence and a front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision, with additional mandatory courses.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA licence is required.
• SC clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Protect property, people and assets per Assignment Instructions and updates.
• Meet/exceed KPIs/SLA to help retain the contract.
• Attend competency training and renew licences on time.
• Comply with UK law and regulatory requirements on site.
• Follow published Instructions and review changes to improve service.
• Maintain accurate incident notebooks and complete Incident Reports when needed.
