Job summary

Mitie Security is seeking an on-site Security Officer in the Tees Valley area. You will safeguard people and property by following Assignment Instructions, maintain vigilance, and promptly report incidents or anomalies to the Control Centre.

You will work to meet service standards and support site teams in daily operations. This role requires an SIA licence, a front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision, and the ability to complete required training.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA licence required.
• SC clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies and UK law as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Complete site tasks on assignment instructions (AI's) to a high standard.
• Renew licences 16 weeks before expiry and maintain professional conduct on site.
• Report hazards and incidents accurately for incident reports and client records.
