Job summary

Kepak Group Bodmin is seeking a Security Officer to patrol and secure premises, monitor surveillance systems, and control access points. You will report observations, assist with incident responses, and ensure safety compliance in a busy food processing environment.

Role requires proven security experience, with desirable SIA training and Level 2 Health and Safety knowledge. The position supports holiday and sickness cover and operates on-site in Bodmin.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a security officer/guard.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• SIA Approved training desirable; Level 2 Health and Safety desirable.

Responsibilities

• Patrols premises and monitors access points to ensure security.
• Responds to alarms and coordinates with authorities as needed.
• Records observations and prepares security reports.
