Job summary

Sentinel Group Security is seeking an enthusiastic Security Officer for a zero-hours contract at a remote site in Newquay. The role involves day and night rotation on a secure site, with public transport limited to the area; applicants should have their own transport or access to a car.

Candidates must hold a valid SIA License (Guarding/ Door Supervisor) and be eligible to work in the UK. The job requires reliability for on-call shifts and a professional, customer-focused approach to maintain

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Security Guarding / Door Supervisor License.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Have a five-year checkable employment history or provide evidence of unemployment/education period.
• Complete an EL1 clearance before attending site.
• Ability to work night & day shifts on rotation with reliability.
• Well-presented, polite and proactive when engaging with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services on site to protect employees, property and assets.
• Respond to security incidents and deter potential threats.
• Maintain high visibility and act in accordance with site-specific Assignment Instructions.
