Ward Security is seeking an experienced Security Officer for a prominent facility in Faversham, Kent. The role focuses on exceptional customer service, professional presentation, and robust security practices, with ID checks, emergency response, and information provision to staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will hold an SIA licence, have min 1 year of security experience, and demonstrate strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
• Ensure all visitors and other callers are given sufficient information with clear communication.
• Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager.
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner.
• Respond to emergencies
• Deal with conflict appropriately
• Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
• Carry out ID checks
• Be vigilant to Health and Safety risks
• Work on own initiative
• Ensure reception areas are kept clean by supervising staff.

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Security Officer to safeguard a prominent facility in Faversham, Kent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and professional environment, and maintaining a high level of security. You will possess a robust background in the security sector, demonstrate proficiency in IT systems, excel in multitasking, and maintain a professional and polished demeanour alongside excellent personal presentation. Excellent communication skills are essential. Within this role, you will carry out ID checks, respond to emergencies and provide information to all staff and visitors as and when necessary.

Role:Security Officer
Pay Rate:£13.45
Shift Pattern: 4 on 2 off day and night rotation. (4 dayshifts 2 off and 4 nightshifts 2 off rotation). 56 hours per week
Location:Faversham, ME13 7NY
Role Requirements:SIA License. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application

Main Duties:

• Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager

• Respond to emergencies

• Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
• Work on own initiative
• Ensures that the reception area, foyer, staff area, and board room are kept clean by supervising cleaning staff members.
