We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in the Berkeley, Gloucestershire area!

Join a mission-critical team. As a Security Officer for G4S, you aren't just guarding a gate; you are protecting a high-stakes site. This is a career defined by stability, specialised training, and professional purpose.

We are looking for a rare type of individual for a role where previous experience is not essential, as we'll support the right candidate with training. Someone who cares about security. Has excellent attention to detail, appreciates that risk exists and is vigilant enough to spot it and take relevant actions, quickly and professionally, to deal with it.

Contract Information

• Location: Berkeley, GL13 9PA
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Hourly Wage: £14.88 per hour
• Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (12 hour shifts)
• Licensing Requirements: You must hold a valid SIA licence (either a Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence). SIA training can be provided to a suitable candidate.
• Applicants must hold a full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• You must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years due to enhanced security screening and will be able to prove a 5-year checkable work history and provide character references.

• No two days are the same on site-you might be handling a medical emergency one day and demonstrating a contingency exercise to a regulator the next.
• Finally, you must be continuously focused on providing excellent service to our customers by being efficient, flexible and security conscious at all times.
