Job summary

Wilson James is seeking a Security Officer in North West London on a permanent, full-time basis. You will provide a highly visible security presence, manage access controls, and respond to emergencies while patrolling and safeguarding people and assets.

The role requires a current DS & CCTV SIA licence, flexibility for 4 on/4 off days and nights, and the ability to work at multiple client sites within the portfolio.

Qualifications

• DS and CCTV SIA licence is current and valid.
• Ability to work across day and night shifts on a 4 on/4 off pattern.
• Experience in high-traffic, customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide a highly visible proactive security presence with strong access controls.
• Check badges, manage visitor passes, and maintain security awareness.
• Support events and act as the point of contact for emergencies.
• Respond to Fire Safety System activations and intruder alerts.
• Patrol the site to deter unauthorised activity and report suspicious behaviour.
• Investigate damage or faults, ensure buildings are securely locked.
• Hand over shift details and follow instructions for continuity.
