Job summary

ABM is seeking a security officer for the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Basildon. You will work a 44-hour week on a 5-on/2-off pattern, covering day and night shifts, with a pay rate of £13.33 per hour.

The role requires a valid SIA Door Supervision license and strong reporting, communication, and emergency response skills. You will patrol the centre, liaise with management and authorities, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for visitors and tenants while maintaining high standards of

Qualifications

SIA licensed as a door supervisor with relevant training and certification.
Experience writing reports and communicating clearly under pressure.
Security experience in shopping centres or similar environments.

Responsibilities

Patrol the shopping centre regularly and respond to incidents promptly.
Coordinate with the soft service manager and centre management on security matters.
Liaise with authorities and security teams to manage incidents and information flow.
Control access & egress to service yards and offices, and maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.
Deliver first-class customer service and maintain professional appearance on site.
