Job summary

SSR G&M seeks a Security Officer for a prestigious Central London organisation. The role offers £40,000 per year plus private healthcare, company pension and Life Assurance.

You will join an evolving in-house security team and work a 4-on/3-off pattern including nights and bank holidays, guarding a diverse portfolio of sites across the enterprise. You will be trained by experienced mentors and develop your skills in risk assessment, alarm and CCTV response, and incident management while

Qualifications

• SIA Licence (Public Space Surveillance, Door Supervisor or Close Protection).
• Knowledge of London area and transport routes is advantageous.
• Experience in security, risk assessment and incident management.
• Current First Aid at Work (EFAW) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Full clean UK driving licence; min 0–3 points considered.
• Competent with security software and basic IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess and manage security across client sites from Ops Room.
• Respond to alarms and CCTV alerts promptly following protocols.
• Conduct internal and external patrols as required.
• Perform secure opening/closing procedures at client premises.
• Provide clear handovers and detailed incident reporting.
• Assist with ongoing security improvement initiatives and training.
