Job summary

SSR G&M seeks a Security Officer for a prestigious Central London organisation. The full-time post offers £40,000 annually plus private healthcare, company pension and Life Assurance.

Working a rotating pattern of four days on, three off, then four nights on, three off, including bank holidays, joining an evolving in-house security team. Qualifications

• SIA licence required and kept up to date.
• Knowledge of London area is advantageous.
• Experience in security, preferably in control room operations and risk triage.
• Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) recommended.
• Clear written and verbal English communication essential.
• Full UK driving licence desirable, points considered case-by-case.

Responsibilities

• Ops Control Room triage and risk-based monitoring across sites.
• Prompt alarm and CCTV response following established protocols.
• Conduct internal/external patrols as required; ad-hoc London site travel.
• Perform secure opening/closing procedures at client premises.
• Provide shift handovers with detailed incident reporting.
• Take on additional security tasks and develop learning within the team.
• Engage in learning from mentors and share knowledge.
