Job summary

G4S in Peterhead is seeking a Security Officer to work a busy site with varied duties. The role offers 42 hours per week at 13.90 per hour, with a shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off. Training can be provided if you do not hold an SIA licence.

You will handle access passes, patrols, incidents and alarm responses, with strong customer service values. Join a global security leader and access extensive training, progression opportunities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Must be aged 18 or over and a confident communicator.
• Tech-savvy to work with digital devices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Greeting staff and visitors and issuing passes.
• Conducting searches where required.
• Patrolling the premises and responding to security incidents.
• Responding to alarms and emergency signals on site.
• Managing access control and signing visitors in and out.
