Job summary

G4S is seeking a Security Officer to join the security team across two prestigious locations in the United Kingdom. You will uphold high security standards, greet staff and visitors, conduct searches, and patrol both internal and external areas.

The role requires an 18+ age, SIA licensing (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and strong communication and customer service skills. Shifts are 4 on/4 off with pay of £12.71 per hour, plus benefits.

Security Officer to join the G4S Security team based in

This exciting opportunity will allow you to

work across two prestigious locations, with a high standard of security needing to be met at all times. With a keen eye and a great way with people, you could look forward to an interesting role where no two days are the same with exciting career opportunities.

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Shifts: 4 on 4 off, (2 days, 2 nights then 4 days off)

• - 6am to 6pm
• - 6pm to 6am
• SIA Licence - SIA Security Guarding or SIA Door Supervising

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer your duties will include:

• - Greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols
• - Conducting searches where required
• - Patrolling the premises internally & externally and dealing with security incidents
• - Responding to alarm triggers and emergency signals on-site
• - Access control and signing visitors in and out of site
• - Dealing with disturbances/ issues and security incidents, first aid and incident reporting

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Security Officer will:

• - To be aged 18 or over
• - To preferably hold a valid door supervisor or security guarding license
• - Be a great communicator, verbally and written
• - To have great customer service skills
• - Knowledgeable with Microsoft office platforms

It is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
