Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Sysco UK Limited, Premier Park, NW10 7NZ. You will provide a visible security presence, patrol the warehouse, and manage access control to ensure safety and smooth operation of the site.

The successful candidate will hold a valid SIA licence, have reliable transport, and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Regular patrols of warehouse, yard and surrounding areas.
• Monitor and control site access; check IDs and admit authorised personnel.
• Lock/unlock premises and perform security checks during shift.
• Ensure all warehouse freezer doors are closed and secured.
• Monitor fire alarm systems and respond to activations or emergencies.
• Complete incident and occurrence reports; maintain site logs.
• Liaise with site management, staff, contractors and emergency services when required.

Pay Rate: £13.55 per hour
Hours: 16 hours per week
Shift Pattern:

• Saturday: 12:00 - 22:00
• Sunday: 06:00 - 12:00

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our team at Sysco UK Limited, Premier Park, NW10 7NZ. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and professional security officer to work within a busy warehouse and distribution environment, helping to ensure the safety, security, and smooth operation of the site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular patrols of the warehouse, compound, and surrounding areas, maintaining a visible security presence and identifying any suspicious activity, hazards, or security breaches. Duties will include monitoring and controlling access to the site, checking identification where required, admitting authorised personnel and visitors, and ensuring all access procedures are followed correctly. You will also be responsible for locking and unlocking the premises, carrying out security checks throughout the shift, and ensuring all warehouse freezer doors are fully closed and secured to maintain operational standards.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring fire alarm systems, responding appropriately to alarm activations and emergencies, completing accurate incident and occurrence reports, maintaining site logs, and liaising with site management, staff, contractors, and emergency services when required. The role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
