Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is recruiting a Security Officer for ABP Eatwell UK in Prescot. You will help maintain safety and security across the site, manage visitors, contractors and deliveries, and support access control and patrols.

The role requires a proactive, reliable individual with a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, willingness to work 48 hours per week on a 6:00–18:00 pattern, Monday to Thursday, and the ability to remain calm and professional during incidents.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Experience in security environment.
• Experience in gatehouse duties, access control, CCTV monitoring or industrial/manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manning the gatehouse and controlling access to the site.
• Booking staff, contractors, visitors and HGV drivers onto the premises.
• Ensuring all personnel comply with site rules and health & safety procedures.
• Verifying identification and authorisation for all site visitors.
• Carrying out CCTV monitoring and investigations where required.
• Carrying out internal and external foot patrols of the site.
• Carrying out welfare checks on lone workers across the facility.
• Responding promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies and security concerns.
• Maintaining accurate records, logs and incident reports.
• Reporting any security, safety or operational concerns to management.
• Providing a visible and professional security presence at all times.
• Remaining vigilant, alert and proactive throughout the shift.

Role Overview

An excellent opportunity has become available for a professional and reliable Security Officer to join the security team at ABP Eatwell UK, a busy food production facility in Prescot. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of the site, ensuring all visitors, contractors, employees and deliveries are managed in accordance with site procedures.

The role requires a proactive individual who can remain alert throughout their shift, confidently manage access control, monitor CCTV systems, conduct patrols, carry out welfare checks on lone workers and respond appropriately to incidents as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience Required

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and have previous experience working within a security environment. Experience in gatehouse duties, access control, CCTV monitoring or industrial and manufacturing environments would be advantageous. Applicants should possess strong communication and customer service skills, be confident dealing with visitors, contractors and drivers, and be capable of working independently whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism. The successful candidate must be reliable, trustworthy, observant and able to remain focused during long shifts.
