Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Security Officer in Yeovil to provide security and customer service on a high-profile site. The role offers 4 on/4 off shifts, days, nights and weekends, and full training is provided to cover BPSS/SC clearance and any necessary SIA aspects.

You will monitor CCTV and access points, carry out patrols, assist staff and visitors, and ensure incidents are reported promptly. This is a full-time position with workplace benefits and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work a rota including days, nights and weekends.
• BPSS and SC clearance required; SIA licence welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, alarms and site access.
• Carry out security patrols and assist staff, visitors and contractors.
• Manage incidents and report concerns promptly.
• Control vehicle access and parking; issue visitor passes and manage keys.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

• Monitoring CCTV, alarms & site access

• Supporting staff, visitors & contractors

Must Have's:

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be able to pass BPSS & SC clearance

• Have lived in the UK for the past 5 years
• SIA licence holders welcome, but not essential.

Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance - Must be a British National and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
