Securitas UK is hiring a Security Officer in Luton (LU1 3PG) to deliver high-quality security services at a prestigious client. You will protect employees, property and assets while following site procedures and maintaining a safe environment.
Key duties include preventing unauthorised access, monitoring CCTV and alarms, conducting patrols, managing keys, and supporting staff and visitors. The role requires an SIA licence and the ability to work shifts, with good English communication.

Hours: Average 42 hours per week:4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off - 6:30am - 6:30pm/6:30pm - 6:30am

We are currently recruiting a professional Security Officer to deliver a high-quality security service at a prestigious client within the advanced engineering and technology sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting employees, property, and sensitive assets while ensuring all duties are carried out in line with assignment instructions and site requirements. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, consistently demonstrating integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness.
As a Security Officer, your key responsibilities include preventing and deterring unauthorised access, monitoring fire alarms, intruder systems, and CCTV, and carrying out regular internal and external patrols. You will also be responsible for traffic and parking control, conducting routine security equipment checks, and managing keys, including locking and unlocking duties in line with site procedures. A proactive and professional approach is essential to ensure all security protocols are followed and a safe, secure environment is maintained at all times.
