Qualifications

• SIA licence valid and current.
• Right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Able to work weekends.
• British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, fire alarms, and intruder alarms as required.
• Carry out external and internal security patrols.
• Prevent unauthorised access to the premises.
• Assist with traffic management and parking enforcement.
• Perform routine checks of security equipment and maintain logs.
• Manage key holding duties including locking and unlocking facilities.

As a Security Officer, your key responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, fire, and intruder alarm systems, conducting both internal and external patrols, and preventing unauthorised access to the premises. You will also assist with traffic management and parking enforcement, carry out routine checks of security equipment, and manage key holding duties including locking and unlocking facilities. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone proactive, attentive, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times.

Responsibilities

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises
