Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Security Response Officer in Filton to provide vigilant protection across a prestigious site. You will join a dynamic, highly respected team, patrol key areas, manage access controls, and respond to incidents with professionalism and confidence.

The role requires flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts. A strong candidate will hold an SIA licence, BPSS/SC clearance, UK work rights with a 5-year history, and a Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence required to work on this site.
• BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance required.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces (17.5-inch headspace).
• Proactive, self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and protect people, property and information.
• Be part of a highly trained Rescue Team for emergencies.
• Conduct internal and external security patrols and manage access controls.
• Locking/unlocking duties and handling keys.
• Traffic control, vehicle searches, and enforcing parking rules.
• Operate security equipment and run routine tests.

Hours: 12 hour shifts, covering days, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Responding to medical incidents
• Being part of ahighly trained Rescue Teamfor emergency situations
• Keeping the site safe – preventing unauthorised access
• Conducting internal & external security patrols
• Managing keys, locking & unlocking duties
• Traffic control, vehicle searches & enforcing parking rules
• Handling security equipment & carrying out routine tests
• Managing access control & issuing Hot Works permits
