Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd, in partnership with Tesco, is seeking a professional Retail Security Officer to provide relief cover across multiple Tesco locations. Location: Wisbech and surrounding areas.

This role requires an SIA licence, availability for 35 hours per week, and the ability to travel within a 10–15 mile radius. Key duties include patrolling, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and offering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises to maintain safety and security.
• Prevent theft, damage, and unauthorised access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.

• Control access for staff, visitors and contractors.
• Complete incident reports and daily records accurately.
• Provide professional customer service and assistance.
• Follow company policies, procedures and health & safety.
• Liaise with emergency services when required.
• Support store management and colleagues as needed.

Retail Security Officer (Relief/Flexi) - Tesco Partnership

Location: Wisbech & Surrounding Areas (PE14 0RG)

Pay: £13.47 per hour

Hours: Flexible, relief cover position 35 hours a week

Shifts: Monday to Sunday, including early and late shifts

Start/Finish Times: Earliest start 06:00 | Latest finish 00:00

• Typical shifts are 07:00 to 14:00 and 14:00/ 15:00 to 23:00 / 00:00

Requirement: Valid SIA Licence and own transport essential

This role supports stores during holidays, sickness absence, and operational requirements while maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and store assets.

Key Responsibilities

Relief Cover & Flexibility Requirements

You will be required to provide cover across the following Tesco locations:

• Wisbech - PE14 0RG
• Market Deeping - PE6 8UD
• Peterborough Express - PE1 1TA
• Paston Express - PE4 7DH
• Werrington - PE4 6NA

The successful candidate must be able to travel and work within a 10 to 15-mile radius of these locations.

• Previous security experience desirable but not essential
