Job summary

Unitrust Protection Services in Weybridge is recruiting a Security Officer to deliver on-site security duties at a prestigious site. You will join an established team and act with initiative while upholding high standards of customer service.

Candidates must hold a valid SIA Licence, be over 18, have a UK driving licence for at least one year, and be able to pass security vetting. The role includes 4 on/4 off shifts, days, nights and weekends, with 48 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years of age and able to provide right to work in the UK.
• UK Driver license for at least 1 year is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good order on site and protect people and property.
• Liaise with client and stakeholders and provide high level customer service.
• Operate access control, patrol, and respond to alarms and incidents.
• Provide support to the Facilities Team and contractors as needed.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate security issues clearly.

The successful candidate will be respectful, tactful and provide excellent customer service. You must hold a Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA Licence to work within our business.

£14.24 per hour.

Objective

To work as a Core Officer, providing a high level of customer service at our client site. Act as the first point of contact for all staff and visitors entering the building. Liaise with the client and stakeholders. Working alongside the wider Security Team and all service lines on site. Ensuring the protection of persons and property and thereby the provision of a safe and secure environ

Duties

• The maintenance of good order on site, including the protection of everyone therein against violent
• acts, abuse and accident.
• The protection of the client’s property against loss, theft, damage (including fire and water) and
• waste.
• The protection of private property belonging to the client, their staff and visitors against loss, theft
• and damage.
• Prevent offences against the law of the land, UniTrust disciplinary codes and policies and ensure all
• are brought to the attention of the management.
• Ensure basic fire precautions are in place and means of escape are clear.
• Undertake internal and external patrols and inspections in accordance with Assignment
• Instruction/SOP’s. Utilising the patrolling and reporting system where applicable.
• Working with the reception team meet and greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures
• are carried out. Some standing (for more than one hour) may be required.
• Escalating any issues security and maintenance related issues to the Facilities Team by detailed and
• accurate emails/incident reports.
• Production and administration of access cards for tenants, visitors and contractors for the access
• control system.
• Monitor, elevate and respond to alarms as required with the CCTV, Security & BMS systems.
• As a part of the Facilities Management Response Team, provide, assistance with emergency
• procedures in accordance with instructions and training.
• Management of Contractors for the client and tenants. Liaising with tenants particularly during
• tenant’s fit out stage.
