Job summary

B&M Retail Limited in Wakefield is seeking a confident and professional Retail Security Officer to safeguard customers, products and store environments while delivering a welcoming experience.

You’ll monitor and report incidents, operate CCTV, support health and safety procedures and investigate stock loss and fraud, all while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. This is a full-time permanent role with daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

Are you a confident and professional Retail Security Officer? Do you enjoy safeguarding people, products, and store environments while delivering a welcoming customer experience?

Join our team in Wakefield and make a real difference!

In this role, you’ll be trusted with responsibility and play a vital role in safeguarding the store. Working closely with the Store Management Team, you’ll help prevent loss, manage risk and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

This is a full-time, permanent role with flexibility to work across daytime, evening and weekend shifts - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being an integral part of the store team.

What you’ll be doing

• Actively monitoring the store to identify, prevent and report incidents
• Operating and reviewing CCTV systems in line with company policies
• Supporting the enforcement of Health & Safety procedures
• Conducting investigations into stock loss, theft and fraud
