Job summary

ISS Facilities Services is hiring a Security Officer to safeguard people, property and assets on-site in Edinburgh (EH12 9SB). The role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern with day or night shifts, at £13.45 per hour.

This permanent, full-time position emphasizes safety, customer service and teamwork in a busy workplace environment. You will patrol the site, monitor activities, control access, and report breaches in line with Health & Safety procedures.

• Stay vigilant and identify any suspicious activities
• Prevent any unauthorised access
• Keep up to date with all the activity on site and have full knowledge of daily events
• Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
• Work as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements
