Job summary

Securitas UK in Theale is hiring a Security Officer to protect a busy depot and plant. The role includes controlling access, patrolling, monitoring CCTV, and maintaining security records on site.

The ideal candidate has an SIA Licence, right to work in the UK, and the ability to work weekends with alternating day/night shifts. Strong customer focus and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence.

• 5-year checkable employment history.
• No current criminal convictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work every weekend, alternating between day and night shifts.

We’re Hiring: Security Officer

Location: Theale, RG7 5HH
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 54 hours per week, nights during the week, days on weekends during Week 1, and nights on weekends during Week 2.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting a busy cement depot and concrete plant that receives bulk cement deliveries by rail and supports the distribution of bulk cement and ready-mixed concrete across the South of England. The Security Officer will carry out regular patrols, monitor site access, assist visitors and contractors, and help maintain a safe and secure working environment. Operating within a strategic distribution hub that supports infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects, the Security Officer will play a key role in safeguarding people, assets, and operations while ensuring all site procedures and security protocols are followed.
