Security Officer position at Securitas UK in Theale, RG7 5HH, overseeing a busy cement depot and concrete plant in the South of England. You will patrol, monitor access, assist visitors and contractors, and uphold security procedures to safeguard people and assets.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must be over 18 years old.
• 5-year checkable employment history.
• No current criminal convictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work every weekend, alternating between day and night shifts.
• Previous experience as a Security Officer.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
• First Aid qualification.

Responsibilities

Location: Theale, RG7 5HH
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 54 hours per week, nights during the week, days on weekends during Week 1, and nights on weekends during Week 2.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting a busy cement depot and concrete plant that receives bulk cement deliveries by rail and supports the distribution of bulk cement and ready-mixed concrete across the South of England. The Security Officer will carry out regular patrols, monitor site access, assist visitors and contractors, and help maintain a safe and secure working environment. Operating within a strategic distribution hub that supports infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects, the Security Officer will play a key role in safeguarding people, assets, and operations while ensuring all site procedures and security protocols are followed.
