Job summary

Join Securitas UK as a Security Officer in Macclesfield. This weekend-only role offers night shifts (5pm–5am) with initial weekday training. Pay is £13.45 per hour, plus access to Learning & Development and a range of benefits, including brand discounts.

The job is site-based with real opportunities to grow within a global security leader. We value teamwork, integrity, and commitment, and provide a pathway to leadership through supportive mentorship and varied training options.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence.
• Driving Licence and access to own vehicle due to site location.
• High Level of Customer Service.
• IT literate.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Good communication skills in English—both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site.
• Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols per Instructions.
• Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment.
• Manage keys and locking/unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Ensure equipment from the customer and Securitas is managed per Instructions.
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Deal with lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.

We’re Hiring: Security Officer!

Location: Macclesfield, UK
Pay: £13.45per hour
Hours:24 hours per week - Sat & Sun - Night Shift - 5pm- 5am. (Overtime Available)

This is a weekend-only position. However, successful applicants will need to be available for training during weekday evenings (nights) initially.
