Job summary

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco Narborough, is seeking professional Retail Security Officers to join the Tesco Narborough partnership. The role focuses on protecting customers, colleagues and assets while delivering excellent customer service in a large retail environment.

Shifts are 8–10 hours, scheduled between 06:00 and 00:00, 5 days out of 7, with weekly pay and a competitive hourly rate. Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential.
• Own transport is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Professional, confident and reliable approach.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Good attention to detail.
• Full flexibility to work shifts between 06:00 and 00:00, including weekends.
• Five-year checkable employment history must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues.
• Act as a visible deterrent against theft and anti-social behaviour.
• Conduct regular store patrols and security checks.
• Respond professionally to incidents and security concerns.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and stock protection measures.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain incident records.
• Liaise effectively with Tesco management and store colleagues.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.

Pay: £13.72 per hour
Hours: Average 32 to 48 hours per week
Contract: Flexible (5 days out of 7)
