Job summary

Securitas UK in Liverpool is looking for a Site Based Security Officer to monitor access, conduct patrols and respond to alarms across local sites. You will maintain incident logs, support residents and visitors, and uphold our values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control site access, ensuring visitors are correctly authorised before entry.
• Conduct regular internal and external patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and emergency situations.
• Monitor CCTV systems and key access points where applicable.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, logs and security records.
• Support residents and visitors by providing guidance and managing behaviours professionally.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff, residents and visitors at all times.
• Liaise with management regarding serious incidents and security concerns.
• Enforce site procedures relating to fire safety, access control and occupancy compliance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off (covering days, nights, and weekends)

Location: Covering sites in Liverpool

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Fire Warden qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
