Securitas UK is seeking a Security Officer for our Ferndown site. You will protect employees, property and information, performing access control, patrols and incident response to ensure a safe environment. This role requires vigilance and a strong customer-service focus.
Applicants must hold a valid SIA licence, be flexible to work days, nights and weekends, and meet UK immigration and residency requirements. A BPSS clearance may be required and excellent English communication is essential.

Salary: £34,000 per annum
Hours: 54 hours per week
To provide a professional Security Officer service at a leading UK engineering facility specialising in safety-critical nuclear instrumentation, reactor protection systems, radiation monitoring, and high-tech components for the aerospace, defence, naval, and power sectors. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting employees, property, and other assets in line with Assignment Instructions and customer requirements. The Security Officer will carry out access control, patrols, incident response, and security monitoring while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. All duties must be performed in accordance with Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times. A valid SIA licence must be obtained before commencing operational shifts.
