Job summary

TC Facilities Management is seeking a Site Security Officer to cover weekend and night shifts at Kemp Town Estate in the United Kingdom.

You will create a secure environment, deter unauthorized access, and respond to incidents and alarms, coordinating with the FM team and emergency services as required.

This role requires a valid SIA licence and a commitment to professional security standards.

Responsibilities

• Working as the Site Security Officer.
• Create a secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors.
• Promote confidence through effective decision-making and professional security standards.
• Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and customer policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and events, escalating as needed to Emergency Services or SOC.
• Complete planned rota and shifts to provide security cover.
• Utilise site security systems to detect risks and breaches.
• Utilise TRACKTIK for patrols and incident reporting.
• Promote safety awareness and report near misses and HS risks.
• Prevent unauthorised access to site by people, vehicles or objects.
• Collaborate with the customer FM team and complete tasks.
• Engage with training & development as required.

What will you be doing? Working Saturday& Sunday 06:00 to 18:00 and Monday & Tuesday 18:00 to 06:00

• Working as the Site Security Officer
• Create a secure environment, in which our customers, their employees, and visitors are able to feel safe
• Promote confidence with every customer, colleague, and stakeholder through effective decision-making, communication, and professional security standards
• Follow Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and customer policy
• Respond in an effective manner to incidents, alarms, and events, escalating to the Emergency Services, the Customer, and the Security Operations Centre, as appropriate
• Complete planned rota and shifts to provide security cover
• Utilise the relevant site security systems to detect risks and potential security breaches.
• Utilise TRACKTIK to complete patrols and reporting of incidents.
• Promote a culture of safety, awareness of H&S risks, and accident/ near miss reporting.
• Prevent unauthorised access to site, whether by a person, vehicle, or object.
• Respond to unplanned events or incidences promptly
• Work in collaboration with the customer's FM team and complete relevant tasks
• Engage with training & development as required
• You will need a valid SIA licence for this role
