Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a proactive Security Officer for CENTRAL RETAIL PARK in Falkirk. The role focuses on customer service, safety, and a secure shopping environment. A valid SIA Door Supervisor/Security Guard licence is required, with duties including patrols, incident reporting, and assisting in emergencies.

The position runs on a 6 on 3 off pattern, 37 hours per week, with a shift range from 09:00 to 17:00 and 16:00 to 00:00. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor/Security Guard licence required.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team or independently to achieve common goals.
• Excellent time management and professional appearance.
• Awareness of conflict management and customer care.
• Familiar with patrolling and monitoring from a loss prevention and health & safety perspective.

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

We are looking to appoint a proactive Security Officer with customer service at the forefront of all they do to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for all our customers and team. SIAD/SGL licence required.

JOB SPEC

• Be present on the park to ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained
• Conduct patrols covering all areas of the retail park and service areas
• Take an active role in emergency situations including first aid and fire warden
• Oversee external contractor management to ensure safe working practices

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Enjoy working part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal
• Good communication skills both written and verbal to assist with accurate report writing
• Excellent time management
