Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is recruiting a Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention to protect a prestigious site and deliver high-quality guarding and customer service. You will be SIA licensed (Door Supervision) with potential to gain CCTVPSS, and you will operate the CCTV system while maintaining the daily occurrence book.

The role requires a full 5-year verifiable work history, excellent communication in English, and a proactive, reliable approach to security duties.

Qualifications

• SIA frontline Door Supervisor licence is required.
• Experience in the security industry is essential.
• Must be flexible and reliable to meet role requirements.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal, is required.

Responsibilities

• Protect the client’s premises from criminal activity.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention, who will work at our client's prestigious site. You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users. We require Officers to be SIA licenced - Door Supervision & CCTVPSS What the day to day looks like: Duties as a Security Officer - Shopping Centre

• To protect our client's premises from criminal activity
• Be focused and alert, being able to identify potential risks and take action to mitigate any threat
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those within by protecting them from verbal and physical abuse
• Comply with the 'Assignment Instructions' to provide a safe and secure environment
• Complete and maintain the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB)
• Operate the Shopping Centre CCTV System
  Be smart and well presented at all times
• Have a valid frontline Door Supervisor SIA Licence.
• Also have a valid CCTVPSS License. However, this can be gained once in post. should the right and successful candidate not have a CCTVPSS already.
• Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Have previous experience in the security industry
• Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements
• Have a full 5 - year checkable work history and required documentation to be vetted
• Assist the managing agent in the day to day operation of the centre.
