Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention to protect client premises and support a safe shopping environment. You will demonstrate high quality guarding and exceptional customer service to clients and service users.

The role requires a valid SIA Licence and CCTV experience, with strong communication skills, reliability and a 5-year checkable history. You will follow Assignment Instructions, complete the DOB and contribute to a secure, welcoming site.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid frontline SIA Licence and CCTV experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in the security industry is required.
• Be flexible and reliable to meet role requirements.
• Able to provide a full 5-year checkable work history and required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Protect client premises from criminal activity.
• Stay focused and alert to identify risks and mitigate threats.
• Protect the safety and wellbeing of people on site from verbal and physical abuse.
• Follow Assignment Instructions to maintain a safe environment.
• Complete and maintain the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB).

Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention, who will work at our client’s prestigious site.

You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.

We require Officers to be SIA licenced –Security Guarding/Door Supervision

Duties as a Security Officer - Retail Loss Prevention

• To protect our client’s premises from criminal activity
• Be focused and alert, being able to identify potential risks and take action to mitigate any threat
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all those within by protecting them from verbal and physical abuse
• Comply with the ‘Assignment Instructions’ to provide a safe and secure environment
• Complete and maintain the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB)

• Be smart and well presented at all times
• Have a valid frontline SIA Licence and CCTV
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have previous experience in the security industry
