MAN Commercial Protection Ltd. is seeking an experienced Corporate Security Officer to be based in Edinburgh. The role involves reception duties, visitor handling, incident reporting, and a strong security presence on-site.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA DS/SG, have a 5-year work history, and demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and excellent communication and customer service skills. Uniform is provided and IPSA membership plus 24-hour helplines are included.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties and greeting visitors, ensuring security procedures are followed
• Write accurate incident reports promptly with a visible high profile security presence

• Check alarms and log information
• Respond to site incidents and emergencies
• Patrolling of premises
• Access and egress control across site

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off nights

Main Responsibilities:

• Reception Duties.
• Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.
• Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide a visible high profile security presence.
• Knowledge of security systems including life safety systems.
• Check alarms and log information.
• Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrolling of premises.
• Access and Egress control.

The ideal candidate must have:

• You MUST hold a valid SIA DS or SG
• You must have a checkable 5 Year work history
• Be reliable with flexibility being key
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Full uniform supplied
