Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection Limited in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Corporate Security Officer to join our night-shift team. This role operates on a 4 on 4 off nights schedule, 18:00–07:00, with duties including reception, visitor checks, incident reporting, patrolling and access control.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA DS or SG and have a traceable 5-year work history, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job description

MAN Commercial Protection are looking for an experienced Corporate Security Officer located in Edinburgh.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off nights

Shift timings: 18:00-07:00

Pay rate: £13.45ph

Main Responsibilities:

• Reception Duties.
• Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.
• Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide a visible high profile security presence.
• Knowledge of security systems including life safety systems.
• Check alarms and log information.
• Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrolling of premises.
• Access and Egress control.

The ideal candidate must have:

• You MUST hold a valid SIA DS or SG
• You must have a checkable 5 Year work history
• Be reliable with flexibility being key
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be able to work as part of a team
