Job summary

Staffline are recruiting for an Area Security Officer on behalf of G4S at a well-known site in the West Midlands. The role pays £13.00 per hour with overtime on weekends and involves days, nights and weekend shifts.

A valid SIA licence and a full UK driving licence with access to your own transport are essential. You will be responsible for controlling access, conducting site patrols, and performing searches where applicable, using various security systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA licence to apply.

• Age 18 or over; confident communicator.
• Strong IT skills and ability to use security systems.

We are currently recruiting for a Area Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site around the West Midlands area.

Contract Information

Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour, Overtime rates available on certain sites at weekends

Shifts: Days, Nights and Weekends

You must have a valid SIA licence to apply

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport to apply

Your Time at Work

As a Area Security Officer you will be responsible for

• Controlling Access and Egress to various locations across the West Midlands
• Site Patrols
• Searches where applicable

It is important to have great communication and customer service skills. You will also need to have strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems.

Our perfect Area Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
