Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead the security operation at our London site. You will manage a team of 10 Security Officers, drive service excellence, and ensure the highest standards of safety, security, and compliance.

Based in London, this full-time role offers progression, a competitive salary up to £34,000 per annum DOE, and a comprehensive benefits package. Monday to Friday, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Security Management role within facilities management, corporate, industrial, or leisure environments.
  • Valid SIA Licence.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the on-site Security Team, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of the security contract in line with client and company standards.
  • Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reports.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, competency checks, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, security procedures, and contractual requirements.
  • Investigate and report security incidents, maintaining accurate records and providing witness statements where required.
  • Work closely with the client, senior site management, and external agencies, including the police, to support security and crime prevention initiatives.
  • Monitor service performance, manage risks, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Manage third-party contractors and agency personnel to ensure quality service delivery.
